This blog was started on Sunday, 19th October 2008.
My first post, which now looks rather sad, was an entry in the diary of a deranged, fictional, unelected Prime Minister. The idea was to create a parody of a very strange person trying to govern a country with a close band of equally strange acolytes, none of whom had any idea what they were trying to achieve.
The parody idea turned to dust, as the true life inspiration managed to render satire meaningless at a pace which left my imagination gasping in its wake.
That is the reason for the 595 day hiatus.
But now we have the coalition, and surely a two-headed beast is twice as easy to lambast as the uni-membered variety? And are there not other topics which lend themselves to a good foam at the mouth?
We shall see...
